Gaylord Chan at Tai Kwun is the story of artist Gaylord Chan’s life and work in Hong Kong, his influence on several generations of local artists with his unique artistic pedagogy and practice,  as well as  the creation of his art school in Tai Po, New Territories.

This commissioned film follows the construction of Chan’s new public art flags at Tai Kwun made in collaboration with Les Beatitudes, a charity organisation that empowers underprivileged women based in Sham Shui Po Hong Kong.
